Every year on the 5-th of May the artist's birthday and the opening of museum's season at the same time is celebrated with an art exhibition by one of the artists coming from Läänemaa. Last year, until the 1-st of October even three artists from Läänemaa presented their art works in the museum. Until the end of July there were 13 pastel drawings from the artist Ants Roos. The drawings represent places Ants Laikmaa once visited and pictured. The Culture Day
In 15-th of June 2008 Ants Laikmaa House-museum organized the Culture Day which themes were his art studies period in St Petersburg, Russia and his exile years in Finland. The quests of this day were local slavish society Bõlina and the West Estonian Cultural Society of Ingrians. The Conferment of the Artist's Self-Portrait
In the June of 2006 Inna Saar-Ploom, the Canada based god-daughter of Ants Laikmaa, gave away the artist's self-portrait drawn in pastel technique. On that ceremonial day many relatives of Inna Saar-Ploom from Canada and United States also attended. The Alley of the Local Rotarians
In summer 2005 the member of the local Rotary Club Raimond Lunev started an idea to plant an alley of local Rotarians into the park of the house-museum. Since then many members of the local Rotary Club have been planted fir-trees for the alley. The alley starts from the big branched oak dedicated to Friedebert Tuglas and to his wife Elo and reaches to the living house. The cooperation between the house-museum and local Rotarians still goes on. The Open-Air Play
In 2-nd July 1989 the open-air play - Mina Elan (I Live) - from the local play writer Erni Krustein was performed in the territory of the house-museum.
